The Cordelia Foundation organised a workshop on the 13th of December in order to share its experiences regarding mental health issues of refugees living in Hungary.
The workshop was mainly focused on the report published by Cordelia, sharing the experiences of their work: ’Report on the mental health conditions of beneficiaries of international protection and asylum seekers in Hungary’.
The document discusses the following interesting issues:
- the affects of asylum procedures on traumas,
- the situation of children, especially the difficulties of unaccompanied minors,
- the traumatic impacts of the experiences of asylum seekers in transit zones etc.
The workshop was funded by the Open Society Institute.
