Therapists of the Cordelia Foundation presented at a conference organised by the Hungarian Psychiatric Association (HPA) in Győr. They talked about the Foundation’s work with refugees, such as working with interpreters.
The conference was organised for the 22nd time between 23 and 26 January and focused on many relevant topics. The Foundation’s therapists contributed to the Psychotherapy and Migration section with the following presentations:
- Dr. Lilla Hárdi: Preventing burnout for experts working with traumatized people
- Dr. Ildikó Hegedűs: Conducting therapy through an interpreter
- Dr. Magdolna Gácser: „We decided to come home”
- Dr. Zsuzsanna Tar: The role of meditation in dealing with trauma
